Brazil Away Kits in the 1990s
The first Brazilian away shirt to be produced was in an especially bright shade of blue. The main feature of the shirt is the two large dark blue arrows, with light blue shadows, pointing towards the right of the shirt. On the right sleeve are two more arrows, but pointing towards the left sleeve. The initials “CBF” for the Brazilian Football Confediration are in large letters at the top of the shirt in the same shade of dark blue, with shadows. The collar and the Umbro logo are both in white, on this away shirt completely different to the home shirt of the time. This shirt was worn until 1993.

The away shirt introduced in 1994 was the same design as the home shirt released in the same year. But the yellow base was converted to blue, with a white collar and white trim on each sleeve. The four large Brazil badges are on the front of the shirt, getting smaller as they move backwards and to the left of the shirt. The extra star was again added to the shirt following the nations 1994 World Cup success.

The away shirt that took Brazil into the 21st century. For the second time in a row, the away shirt was based upon the same template as the home version, but this time made by Nike. It is keeping with Brazil’s traditional away colours of blue, with a thin white line extending from the collar to the end of the sleeve. There is also a white trim on the collar, and the Nike tick is in the same colour.
